Cleaning robot working on a ship hull

Multipurpose robots

Cleaning and preparation where people should not be.

We combine RobotPlusPlus robots for work at height with MontiPower surface preparation, and robotic systems for risers and tubulars in the tidal and wave zone.

Tidal zone

Robotic cleaning of risers and tubulars.

The robotic blasting system cleans tubular structures in a marine environment to SA 1 (ISO 8501-1): it removes loose rust and contaminants. For better coating adhesion, water jetting above SSPC–SP WJ is recommended. It removes grease, marine fouling, flora and fauna and leaves a useful anchor profile.

Capability

Height, tide and plant, with the crew in a safe zone.

  • Removes encrusted marine growth.
  • Improves cost-benefit and safety.
  • Needs little personnel during installation and operation.
  • Can be installed without stopping operations.
  • Simple operation, with no diving required.
  • Adjusts to different diameters and tubular shapes.
  • Works above the surface and underwater.
  • At height, RobotPlusPlus and MontiPower platforms avoid scaffolding and rope access.
Industrial structure

Specialized engineering

An asset at height or in the tidal zone.

We review diameter, access and substrate condition to define the robot and the preparation system.
